Alright everyone, as you probably know by now, I’m the main host/leader for Panelstuck, the Homestuck Panel, here in the Rio Grande Valley. Anyways, I love working with my crew, they’re really great people, but it has come to my attention that some people were interested in joining in on Panelstuck. In any case, with a full cast already in hand, my co-host Feferi/Vuvuzelalatte (tumblr), have come to the conclusion to hold auditions/re-auditions for Panelstuck! Under the read-more is more information about the auditions including which roles are up for grabs. Current Panelstuck members are still required to audition! The best one will win and be given the position.

BEFORE YOU CONTINUE ON, THERE ARE SOME RULES/INFORMATION:

1) Must live in Texas. We run the panel at Valley cons for the moment and it’d be easier to stay in contact with people nearby. 
2) All of the panels are family friendly! When answering questions, please try and keep cussing down and content to a PG-13 level!
3) If you do not make it for the part you can request a reason as to why. We’ll have some sort of scoring sheet rating each person from 0 - 10 on the following categories: appearance / voice / characterization. 
4)  For auditioning you have two of the following options:
- Send a video of you in your cosplay answering the questions. (Ben Nye is not needed)
- Send a voice recording of yourself answering the questions along with at least one full body shot of your cosplay. 
(If either of those options don’t work out for you, you contact me (georginia.ramos on skype) and we’ll set up a skype call so that way at least I and another judge can judge you. We still need a picture of your cosplay unless it’s a video call.)
5) Auditions must be sent to panelstuck@gmail.com.
6) Auditions begin today (August 1st, 2012) and end  October 13th, 2012. September 30th, 2012.
7) If you do not make it to be in the Panel, you are able to join into Troll Cops (the back up/helper) group. If you become a Troll Cop, you are still able to get the discount, depending on what convention, panelists get and you will still be part of the crew! Just realize that Troll Cops are extremely important and in the unfortunate case that a panelist is unable to attend the panel, a Troll Cop will step in for them. Sometimes the cosplay is provided, but not all of the time. 
8) When you send your email, your subject line should follow this format:
- [Character] Audition (Video or Recording)

With all of that said here are the questions you must answer IN CHARACTER:
(You’re only required to answer five questions + the tell me more about yourself) 

• Who’s your best friend?
• Got a secret you wanna share?
• Most embarrassing moment!
• Favorite food?
• Least favorite color?
• Best movie!
• Type of music you enjoy!
• What talents do you have, if any?
• Tell me some more about yourself!

Now here are some questions you must answer OUT OF CHARACTER:

• County you live in.
• Any way to contact you? Facebook? Skype? Tumblr?
• What cosplays, asides from the character you’re auditioning as, do you have?
• Do you have any panel experience? If so, what panels were they?
• Do you have any acting or stage experience? (Panels count.)
• Just tell us a little more about yourself!
